From Team Doubloons, Turning Pages has been established and development on the game has begun. As stated before, Turning Pages is a 2.5D game styled around Octopath Traveler and Legend of Zelda where you play as a character named Verne who is trying to get to his home book within a huge library. The game will have a story based on War of the Worlds which is the book Verne ends up in and has to fight through to return to his original book.  Now that we've laid the concepts down, we are working on getting all of the sprites and 3D assets into the game and working on getting gameplay up and running as well. Currently, we have a sprite of Verne running around in the world on a landscape as well as an enemy sprite of a Martian alien in-progress. Below is a video of Verne running around in the overworld.
